I am thinking about getting vasectomy and I am curious about it. I am 27 and have a wife and 2 children and we are done with the kids thing. My only problem is that I am TERRIFIED PHOBIC of needles. Chronic post vasectomy pain syndrome Would like to know if testosterone can cause dialation of proximal aorta?
I had vasectomy wen I was 20 on doc opinion and it totally stuffed up. I hav had bout 12 operations now with no relief including removal of one teste and epidectomy etc hav done pain blocks etc. I now have testosterone every month because I was diagnosed with androgen deficiency Since starting few years ago I hav had major chest pains and all they came up with is a dilated aorta which my new doc is in control of. Just curious if this could b from the testosterone or just from major hi Bp all the time which I now take three meds to try to control but not much luck. I also take 320 mg of OxyContin a day just to get thru the day along with up to 6 endone 5 mg a day for the more immediate pain. If any one knows of some new miracle to help wit the pain it would b greatly appreciated I stil want to sue the ass off the surgeon but my lawer made me settle for jack shit and sign a stupid bloody release grrrr

Numbness after vasectomy?
Had the vasectomy on Thursday afternoon. I was surprised it was still numb Friday, but the office called for the follow up and said this was fine. Now it's Sunday morning, and still numb around the cut. Is this normal? It's coming up on 72 hours... Bright side is there has been really no discomfort but I'm a little freaked.

Here's some more details. He is 25, Im 21. Neither of us have children, and I DO NOT want children. Save your breath with the speeches of me not knowing for sure, because I do. I don't want them. Why won't doctors perform vasectomies on young males?
Let me just start off by saying that I am a 16 year old male, and even as a little boy 5 or 6 years old , I've never wanted kids. I think about having kids a lot and every time I think about it, I only think of negatives, or incentives NOT to have kids. Let me list some of the reasons since i could go well in depth but for the sake of everyone's time, I'll spare the inconveniences. I don't think I would make a good dad, since I hate kids and I hate looking after people. I don't like what happens to the female when they become pregnant. They're loud and noisy, they don't let you sleep at night. They throw temper tantrums regularly. They're gross, they crap themselves and puke everywhere. They are very expensive to raise and I don't have money for the things I like. Don't have time to do the things I want. Won't get to do a lot of things I want to do in the future like travel, go out partying, have new experiences.I can go on...and on...and on. All my life, I have never looked at a baby and went " AWWWWW" like everyone else has. People have tried that and said to me " BAWWWHHH ISNT HE DEH CUTEZT WITTL TING YOU HAZ EVER SEEN?1 111ONE " and every time, it has resulted in me saying " Meh...I guess it's cute." I just don't feel any connections, and it was like that since I was little.I've been looking into getting a vasectomy done when I'm about 19 or 20, but I hear a lot of claims about how a lot of clinics and urologists won't perform them on someone that young and I have to ask...why? If I ever change my mind and want kids...wouldn't that be MY problem, and not the DOCTOR'S? I really don't understand what the big deal is, can someone enlighten me?I'm really scared being tied down by a fat, ugly nagging wife and a bunch of screaming brats is not my ideal future. I just want to get out of the hellhole that is high school, go to university, get a good job, and have some fun with my life. I'll admit as well that not wanting to get girls pregnant is a big part of it...I want to have some fun, you know? People my age are partying it up right now in high school and getting it out of their system, which is fine, and great if you ask me. But since I'm a social outcast in school, I have to wait to do all of that. Is there someone out there that understands my situation? I just really need to vent right now...
A question about vasectomies...?
First off, I'm a college graduate and I know what a vasectomy is, how its done, and what its for I don't desire further background information on the subject. Also, I fully support an adult male's rights in making this decision, so I don't wish to debate that.My question is why is it always the SAME user no need to name names, but some 50 year old linux fan, judging by his posts and avatar picture who answers the questions?Always, its the SAME canned answer, about how he got snipped at 21 in the late 80s, never wanted kids, blah, blah...and always extolling the virtues of his vasectomy...Not only that, but he asks the SAME questions about vasectomies over and over again, in all sorts of different categories... Men's Health, Singles and Dating, Sociology, etc Glad this guy is an expert and if he's such an expert, then why is he always asking the same questions? , but maybe try letting others have the spotlight, rather than using the same topic to build points or gain attention, or whatever the motive is.
