Any way to speed up my vasectomy recovery time?
Hey I got a vasectomy Tuesday afternoon. I've followed all the instructions. Such as keeping the area clean. Resting. Laying rather than sitting. Not lifting anything over 10 Lbs.My scrotum is still swollen up like it does when I am cold only much larger because of additional fluid inside... I believe and it has what looks like bruise on it's right side. I'm taking vicodin for the pain.He said by Saturday I'll be able to do get up and go back to life. Is this true? Is what I'm experiencing normal for being 2 days afterwards?Thanks so much to everyone who answers this PS I've tried calling his office today but he's in surgery and can't return calls until tomorrow his voice mail .

Slow vasectomy recovery?
Hi,I had a scalpel vasectomy 6 days ago,my right side has been fine,no pain atall but my left testicle has been really painfull.the bruising has started to fade now but I stil feel like I have had a kick in the balls .Mates at work claim they had no pain,is somehing wrong or is taking almost a week to start to feel better normal?Phoned doc,he said I probably overdid it although I did rest up for 48 hours,he says it can be up to 2 weeks to heal and stop aching so hopefully the ibruprofen and feet up will help
